1) It is the intention of Cuthbury Insulation Limited (“the Company”) that all terms of the contract between the Company and the Customer are contained in this document and the specification provided. Customers are advised to read carefully and raise any queries before work begins.
a) The Company enters into this contract subject to satisfactory assessment of your property. If the assessment report is unsatisfactory, the Company reserves the right to cancel after issuing a written explanation. All quotes are valid for 14 working days.
b) Any performance figures are estimates only and not guaranteed. Actual performance may vary due to environmental or site-specific factors.
2) The Customer shall grant the Company’s representatives access to the premises at reasonable times to carry out surveys, installations or any required remedial works.
3) The Company will aim to commence works on the agreed date but shall not be liable for delays beyond its control, including but not limited to fire, weather, planning, strikes, or other unforeseen issues.
4) By signing this contract, the Customer confirms that all relevant permissions and consents are in place. The Company is not responsible for local planning conditions.
5) Only written terms and conditions represent the agreement between the parties.
6) Prices quoted are based on full payment upon completion. The Company reserves the right to recover the full balance on completion. Failure to pay within 14 days may result in a 2% additional charge per month.
7) All goods remain the property of the Company until full payment is received. The Company accepts card payments made payable to Cuthbury Insulation Limited.
8) In the event of faults caused by materials or workmanship, the Company will arrange for defects to be rectified in line with statutory rights.
This does not extend to damage caused by accident, misuse, negligence, or work by other parties. Manufacturer warranties will be passed to the Customer within 30 working days of installation.
NOTE: Cuthbury Insulation Limited is an independent company and is not associated with any government schemes or funding bodies.
Important Notice: Right to Cancel
• You have the right to cancel within 14 calendar days of signing this contract. Cancellation must be made in writing by post or email to the Company. It is advisable to keep proof of cancellation.
• If work has commenced during the cooling-off period, you may be charged for work completed. To begin work within the 14-day period, you will be required to confirm this in writing.
